Happy Valentine's!

  • So Valentine's went well. I definitely win the award for being the most romantic.
  • I have to admit that Chris is not romantic at all.
  • When I am not at my computer, I think of all sorts of things to blog about. I'm at work and something pops into my head. When I get to my computer...I can't think of a single dang thing!!
  • So many things interest me on the internet. It's disgusting. I'm like an internet junkie.
  • This keyboard on my laptop has a reach to the spacebar. Christian's thumbs would NEVER make it to the spacebar.
  • Nya went to the vet. Of course when you go to the vet, they make a huge list of things you HAVE to do or you are a horrible dog owner. I opted to leave a few things off the list for today and save them for another time...I appreciate my vet not pressuring me to do things that I can't pay for yet. But, instead recommending what is necessary for today.
  • I bought Chris a Kindle Fire HD for his birthday.
  • I already gave it to him as I can't hold presents or secrets. He LOVES it! So yay! I'm a hit again...two days after Valentine's.
  • My mom and dad are coming to visit on Monday, so that means I need to clean up around here.
  • Guess who doesn't have to work Monday!! ME! And I get it off paid!! Yeah Buddy!
  • More changes to the blog to come....

Happy Hearts

Last year for Valentine's Day I made Chris a 52 card deck of "52 ways" I love him. It turned out so good. However, it's sort of like I played my best trump card on the first play. This year I am somewhat at a loss for what to do.
In general, I am a very romantic person. But, I feel so busy...overwhelmed? I have done a lot of romantic things in our relationship...and probably gone more out of the box than he has. It's important to me somehow, even if he doesn't do very much. I guess it's because most of the time Valentine's is considered a woman's holiday with all the flowers, candy and stuffed animals. But I really enjoy showing Chris how much he means to me in a romantic way.
So, I stormed my brain at work and have decided on my plan. It will take some doing. He's hard to fool and I think the element of surprise is nice. But, I am a really great liar and a great planner. That is probably not a good way to advertise to anyone that you are great at deception and planning. However, it's the truth.
In my plan though I think I will need a little bit of help. That's where the kids come in! Stay tuned...
