Lists

• Work has banned cell phones from entering our building. This has caused a major upset with all of my co-workers. It's not that we're on our phones all day long...but it's difficult to sit and stay in a building all day without knowing anything of the world outside. 
• Needless to say, it HAS impacted my blogging, picture taking and Facebook where my planner is concerned. However, I do use my planner a ton more than I did before. Because I'm not allowed to have my digital pda with me, I HAVE to use my Filofax! How amazing is that!? 
• I am becoming more courageous with planning events due to having a planner. I feel less stress that I will fail and that I will forget something important. 
• I love my hairstylist. He's been my soul mate and best friend for over 8 years now. I can talk to him about anything. Lately, it's been so good to just BE myself with him. I saw him yesterday and first thing I said was, "I want crazy purple hair!" and he says, "Yeah!! Let's do it!" Gosh, I need that in my life. 
• Been playing more video games. 
• Been working hard on making and maintaining my female relationships. This is a real struggle for me. I gave my heart to my "not really ever best friend, but what else do I call her" best friend years ago..and having female friends is SO hard for me. My eye is so crooked when another female wants to hang out or go for coffee. I'm jaded. I hate that I still carry that. But I'm working on trusting..and I'm working on pushing myself to keep on in my relationships with other women, even when they're difficult. 
• Chris and I decided to spend one or two weekends a month having dinner parties at our house. Not huge parties...just have someone(s) over for food and movies or chatting to catch up. Considering what a freak I am and what an introvert he is...this is HUGE. 
• I realize that my blog lately has been nothing but Filofax porn and not a lot of knitting, food or randomness...so I'll work on that.

• I can't think of any good resolutions other than the old ones that I've made, but haven't kept. 
• Recovering from a really bad flu. It was a good flu in that I lost 6lbs. I know about 4lbs of that is probably water, but hey! That is good news. hehe
• Watching movies/tv shows have kept me occupied while I've been sick. However, I only pay really close attention when they show a binder or a planner. Then I pause and (zoom in if it's Netflix) contemplate what planner brand it is. It caught my eye that Robin from "Sister Wives" uses a Kate Spade! 
• I think if I keep any resolutions this year they will be the ones that involve documenting my year, yarn, weight loss and planning/organizing. Those seem to be the most important.

•I like it cold at night when I'm sleeping. But I need it to be warm to get out of bed.

•I feel burned out with bento. Plus. It's so hard for my girls to bring their bentos home from school. 

•Thanksgiving is in three days and I don't have a turkey yet! ...or anything! 

•I feel lost today as I don't have a planner/plan for the week. I shouldn't have moved from my domino without having my Original ready to go. Noted! 

•This is my second year to no do Nanowrimo. :-( 

•I'm so freaking in love with my husband. My heart has that achy hurty happy feeling to it. I still find it strange that I feel so strongly after these three years. 

•I've lost 4lbs in the last month. Yay me! I am only watching my portions. Not really saying no to anything. 

•Birthdays are over. Thank goodness! Glad I have so many children to celebrate...but it kills our bank. Lol

•And lastly, a quote.

• I fell off the wagon. Downloaded Warcraft, then proceeded to shake and gleefully giggle in the glowing of my laptop screen until 11pm when I logged out and rejoined the human race. 
• Work is busy...but not super busy. It's sort of a catch twenty two. When I'm really busy...I LOVE work. It's exciting and entertaining. When it's a normal pace...it draaaaags and I'm bored. 
• Daniel said I seem happier and I drink less. What an accomplishment. :)
• Our cat Felicity is shedding all over the house. I want to shave her bald. I dislike her hair everywhere...it's annoying and all over my clothes. 
• We bought a wok. When I seasoned it...it seemed to go well? But, after cooking with it...I burned the chicken and everything had a weird burnt flavor to it. 
• It's the second thing I've burnt this week! So I am on a roll. 
• My garden tomatoes aren't going as well as my lawn. I have to mow that stupid lawn like EVERY week! And my tomato plants mock me with their dwarfism. 
• Speaking of drinking less...I'd like some booze. 
• Today I heard someone refer to her VERY LARGE BREASTS as "chest puppies". I snickered and snorted like an immature 12 year old. I'm a dope. 
• My fingernails do not like me chewing on them all the time. They are sore and bleeding a lot of the time. I fell off that wagon about a month ago when I started chewing my nails again, after TWO years of never biting one nail. 
• I am not doing well with wagons lately. 
• My wagon jumping has led me to stop hating on my ex so much. He recently got married to his whore of the month. Made an honest who am I kidding,she's a harlot of Biblical proportions  woman of her. I am not sure why I decided to be nice to him from now on...but it makes me feel happier. So, there is that. 
• Well...vent is done installing...so I'm off to play some WoW. hehe!

Still here...

• I am at home sick today. I was home sick yesterday too. But, actually felt so god awful sick that I couldn't do anything to save my life. Today, I am sitting up in bed and resting. ACTUALLY resting guys!! 
• I have done a little bit of knitting. And watching Dance Moms. 
• It feels like heaven to just sit down and not do anything. 
• I started some bread for dinner. I am defrosting the flank steak at the same time. 
• It's nice to be at home during the day time hours. As well as not feeling rushed about dinner. 
• This morning started out well with my being able to take the girls to school this morning. That hasn't happened at all during this year. It's a HUGE blessing to be able to do that sometimes. 
• I have spent most of the morning reading blogs and making mental notes as to how to be better organized. I don't know if it does any good....lol
• I am planning trip to go see my friend Christian in WI. I haven't been there in YEARS. It will be fun to see her and what her life is like there. I miss her a lot. 
• My template on this blog is annoying. I don't really like it...but I haven't had the time to figure out how to fix it.
